Oli Aikawa believes that "art is who we are," viewing it as an essential part of the human experience. For Oli, art is a way of communicating the essence of life, something to be held close to as it tells the stories that define us.

Driven by a deep sense of purpose, Oli is all about forward motion—getting things done and creating something larger than oneself. His artistic process is about embracing moments of clarity when thoughts fall away, allowing him to dial in and focus on creation fully.

Oli is also passionate about service and views his role as an artist as both a communicator and provocateur. He believes it’s his responsibility to tackle difficult ideas that need to be addressed, no matter how awkward or challenging. Through his art, Oli aims to make a positive impact, striving to improve not only communities and cities but the world at large. Though the task is not always easy, he is convinced it’s the right thing to do.
